Jark3 Completed - Aug 2011
Jark 3 is finished and we are really pleased with it. It really is luxury camping and will give you very happy glampers! It has loads of space and it's warm and dry. Plus it's got lighting and electrical sockets! Jark 3 is a very sociable space and takes the bad things out of camping. It can even be used all year as it's fully insulated (more than most houses)
and comes with an optional, slimline, all mounted, oil filled radiator. At approximately 11ft (w) x 7ft (d) x 9ft (h) internal dimensions Jark is a fantastic glamping hut.

Jark3 Contruction - Summer 2011
Summer 2011 has seen the design, development and now construction of Jark3. This is JarkLife's third phase in the development of a high quality, mobile,
extendible, flexible and eco friendly Glamping (Luxury Camping) Hut.
Here's the first published pictures of Jark3 under construction, just awaiting the glass in the bi-fold doors and twin back windows and the final finishing touches to the inside. More can
be found on the Jark3 page - Eco-Camping and Glamping Hut/Accomodation Solution
Jark2 - Eco-Camping/Glamping Hut History
The first phase, the Jark Camping Hut, saw the recycling
of steel framed chicken house sections into rustic camping huts, with plenty of space as well as being warm and dry.
The second phase, Jark2 the Eco-Camping and Glamping Hut moved away from the steel frames to
produce a more light weight mobile solution, constructed from wood with a steel base which could be lifted or dragged into position. Jark2 focused on the green credentials utilising
barley straw and sheeps wool as the insulation materials to extend the camping season. The wood was tanalised soft wood, the roof 25% recycled steel and glass became a huge design
feature to extend the camping feeling by bringing the outside in.
Jark3, the latest and best eco-camping/glamping solution from JarkLife.com has kept the same fun shape but has seen
huge steps forward in terms of construction and finish quality. All the timber is FSC accredited but now we are using Cedar and hardwood, the doors and windows (there are now two at
the back) are hand made, the 25% recycled tin roof is still there, we've reduced the glass a little but now we've added lighting and power sockets inside (as well as an optional radiator)
and we've added funky lights in the sofits for a fun effect after dark. Not only that, it's still on a steel base so you can move it, it's bigger (12ft x 8ft) but still extendible (8, 16, 24ft etc) and with our great canvas extentions.
