Jark1 - Camping Hut made from recycled chicken houses
Jason Wise, founder of JarkLife.com is a chicken farmer. He's been in the industry for a number of years and has seen his business take on
and meet many challenges and changes in the market place. Until recently, he produced Organic Free Range Chicken for a local supplier but
he could see the market changing and decided to make some changes to reflect what he predicted would happen in the industry. He downsized and
re-focused the business on high quality, local free range chicken and set up his own farm shop Ark Chicken.
However, this meant that he had a large number of purpose built chicken houses, contructed in sections from box steel, timber, insulation
and corrigated iron. What was he going to do with them. Well, he's always coming up with ideas and before Glamping had even been heard of, he decided to
convert these sections into camping huts.
Jark1 was constructed from soft wood and had a stable door and a rustic feel to it.
Jason wasn't happy with this, so Jark 2 was born!
